Should Gordon Brown be the next PM? If not him, then who?
I'll let you know my thoughts later.

I dont really think it matters who it is, no-one will actually give us what we want, they all make promises they know they cannot keep. xxx

I think it would be terrible if Gordon Brown took power.
I want a PM who is going to get us out of Europe, stop pandering to minorities, cut back massively on immigration and give equal rights to the single white person.

You sound like a "Right-wing Fundamentalist."
And I totally empathise with you I'd like to see similar things for the U.S. (no more UN, less un-registered immigration, less PC idiocy.I raise a toast to "wishing in vain." ![]() As one of my good friends says, "Wish in one hand, $hit in the other."

Whilst pulling out of Europe (imo) is neither here nor there, I do agree that equal rights should mean just that- equality for everyone. Im pretty sick of seeing my friends not being able to work just because places wont hire teenagers, unless of course their company policy allows teens to work for much lower wages than anyone over 18, like me. Its criminal what I get paid but cant afford to quit the job
![]() I would like to know what you mean with pandering to the minorities though Gabe, what exactly do you feel the government is doing that restricts your rights personally? Im pretty indifferent about who comes into power; I cant stand Cameron or the tories, yet the current regime isnt doing a good enough job in my eyes. I'd rather see Brown in power than Cameron (he's a slimy git), but wouldnt vote for either.

I mean quotas. Some government departments including the police force are guilty of employing supposed minorities over more qualified whites because they have to employ #% of other groups. Same goes with housing. Councils will prioritize families due to race in areas that predominantly contain other races. That is UNLESS it's already a minority prevalent area.
No race or gender should take priority over another. If there happens to be no black police officers or even no white doctors then so be it. As long as that is the naturally occuring balance.

Agreed, but sometimes it can be hard to tell with employment. Maybe its just the area I live in, but with doctors and other expert professions, I find that minorities aren't necerssarily hired due to their race. I know of skilled asylum seekers/immigrants that cant get jobs in their professions at all over here, so it can be a bit of a grey area.
Round Wrexham, and some areas of Shropshire, we've become infamous for the amount of Polish people that live and work here. Im kind of indifferent on this too as I have no problem with people coming to this country to live a better life (or even for their own safety), so I dont have a problem with the Polish here. But it does kind of annoy me sometimes when I see the amount of Poles hired in places because its cheap to hire them and then seeing some of my friends not being able to get jobs to support themselves or raise money to go to uni.
