Pretty much. I'm not even slightly Irish and I really couldn't give a crap less about St. Patrick, but any holiday that encourages heavy drinking is cool by me.

Still don't understand why so many non-Irish people make a big deal out of St. Patricks day. A lot of people who celebrate have no connection to Ireland at all I can understand Irish-Americans and certain parts of America that has a lot of history from Ireland, but still don't get it. Even people in Wrexham were celebrating St. Patricks day yet didn't celebrate St. Davids day half as much. The mind boggles.

Sorry didn't mean to rant lol, hope everyone had a good one.
St Patrick wasn't even technically irish, they day stands for unity between the people and god I believe. And my Great Great grandpop was starit off the boat, so I'm game to celebrate every year

Ah thats cool, it wasn't specifically aimed at you mate, I just really don't understand it when people in the UK who aren't Irish celebrate it, and to a lesser extent in America (since I know a lot of America/Americans have Irish links).

Hope you had a good one
