![]() Ferrari is on fire with that win in Spain. Almost a month wait for this gp and it was amazing. Lewis is the man with the 2nd place finish and now leading the drivers championship. Just crazy. So many screw up with fuel, tire bolts and tires flying away lol. Monaco is next and it's only going to get more interesting. ![]() |

The tire bolt was so funny. I can only imagine the look of bemusement on the Toyota mechanics face as he approached the garage with the wheel nut and the BMW STILL set off!
Hamilton did well but he couldn't keep the pace of Massa. I'm surprised at how many cars failed to finish. My fave part was Coulthard coming in 5th position. He deserved that sort of result after all the reces where the car has let him down. Good to see him smiling again. Same for Sato with a great 8th place for the Super Aguri.

That tire bolt was super funny. Guys playing some footy in the pit lane lol. 10 laps in and almost 8 retirements? Couthard was the man getting that 5th pos (he almost bite it in the pit lane with that other car also)
A big congrats to Sato with his 1st point and 1st point for Super Aguri ![]() Alonso's first turn was omfg wtf is he doing? |

Alonso is getting a little stressed seeing the new rookie driver taking all the headlines. He isn't the sort of guy who wants to be outshined. There was a good friendly rivalry between Massa and Hamilton and they congratulated each other with ease but Alonso seemed really bitter and didn't talk to either of them. Even though it was mostly his own fault!
I did think Coulthard was going to get his head stuck up the Torro Rosso's arse when entering the pit lane. Also, last dozen or so laps without 3rd gear? That took some serious skill to keep 5th place.

Alonso does it again. Man, the streets of Monaco are nuts. It's one of the best races all year (Except for my fav, Nuremberg of course)
Lewis Hamilton again is outstanding! I'm not sure why the FIA is "looking" into team orders BS. That bump Lewis took on that one chicane did a number on his tires and he had to pull back. They better not take away that win..... Canada is next and I arrive in Montreal for my sister's wedding 2 weeks later on June 27th..... ![]() |

Good race but I think there was more to it. Hamilton's dad looked pissed after the race and all they talked about was what's best for the team. Both drivers stopped racing each other after the second pitstop.
I want to know why Hamilton was in his pit bay for a whole second more than Alonso but didn't gain any extra laps of fuel? Could the have been holding him back a little? I feel sorry for Coulthard. He gets shafted for a team mistake. How is he supposed to know that the guy behind is on his fast lap unless the team tell him. Typical Honda performance.

I thought it was a good race but Lewis definatley had more to give towards the end. Strategy is being claimed by the Mcmerc team but just found :
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/6698349.stm Interesting, I bet nothing comes from it though. Anyway, I thought the Ferrari looked poor at Monaco, they will need to seriously step it up for the next race. |

I formated my DVD I recorded of the race, but you remb when Lewis was gaining on Alonso with 10 or 17 laps to go and he hit that chicane looked like it did a number on his front right tire (You could see the orange/red paint on it) and he fell back from there.
David had a poor race (Plus that qualifying), and the footy kick the pit guy was super funny lol. Ferrari had a bad race also. 35 seconds behind? Ouch. |

That could have played a part cAt, and the team will definitely blame that.
To me, team orders and team strategy are pretty much the same thing if it means holding back a driver for racing his best. Ferrari are making a mess of things at the moment. Kimi seems to be trying too hard. I bet they're really missing Michael now ![]()
