I really want that speed channel!

The cool thing is that they have the full interviews after the race too then a re-cap. Get this, the channel I used to watch that's called TSN in Canada had this:

Qualifying and the race. They would always leave at the start of the interviews to have bowling or something like that.....

Speed Channel rocks. When they had the USA GP, total coverage was like 14hrs during race weekend. The interviewed every driver on Saturday it was crazy lol.

The only thing, they show practice #2 and not the first one. lol

Lucky someone else figured this math out:

Hamilton will win the championship if:
- He finishes 1st or 2nd or ahead of Alonso and Raikkonen in the race
- He finishes 5th and Alonso finishes 3rd or lower
- He finishes 6th or 7th, Alonso finishes 3rd or worse and Raikkonen finishes 2nd or lower
- He finishes 8th, Alonso finishes 4th or lower and Raikkonen finishes 3rd or lower
- He fails to score points, Alonso finishes 5th or lower, and Raikkonen finishes 3rd or lower


Alonso will win the championship if:
- He wins the race and Hamilton finishes 3rd or lower
- He finishes 2nd and Hamilton finishes 6th or lower
- He finishes 3rd, Hamilton finishes 8th or lower, and Raikkonen finishes 2nd or lower
- He finishes 4th, Hamilton does not score points and Raikkonen finishes 3rd or lower


Raikkonen will win the championship if:
- He wins, Hamilton finishes 5th or lower and Alonso finishes 3rd or lower
- He finishes second, Hamilton finishes 8th or lower, and Alonso finishes 4th or lower

If Alonso and Hamilton finish tied for first place, Alonso would take the title only if he wins the race which would give him the tie-breaker. Any other combination favours Hamilton.


If Raikkonen wins the race and finishes tied with either Alonso or Hamilton for first place, the Finn would take the title based on more wins over the McLaren duo.

That last part is VERY interesting. I didn't realise Kimi had won more races through the season.

That would really be a left fielder of Kimi managed to pull off the championship win!

Massa take the inside, hits Lewis both out of the race, Alonso takes out Kimi and David wins the race!

It was such a shame but well done Kimi. I thought Lewis drove well after all the issue with gears to get back to 7th. I can't see the Mclaren appeal helping now either. Bring on next season. Hope it is as close again, I can't wait already

What a long shot! Perfect start and race for Kimi! I got on the Lewis bandwagon too lol. I did want Kimi to win this year and he did it. Lewis will be a huge driver for the 08 season and I'll be going to the 08 Canadian GP 100%. It's going to be a long off season (Till March 08) but all the off season news and stories will be around.

Best season in along time and plenty of action and drama!

I still think Lewis deserved to win. I agree he has had the benefit of a good car BUT he managed to outdrive a team mate who has a few F1 years behind him as well as a couple of titles. That is enough to impress me. Kimi is a bit like the tortouise from the story; plodding along while the competition goes balls out. I'm surprised it's taken him so long to win a title.
