Default Technology question

Right, all you incredibly intelligent people out there in forum land. I have a question.

My Telewest box is connected to my VCR and DVDR via scart. I can record from the normal channels but if I switch to teleport tv (allows me to pick and choose what I want to watch and it starts when I want. Tend to have whole series' to select.) I get a blue screen or it says picture cannot be displayed.

Anyone know a way round this? If I connect with a composite cable will that make a difference or is it internal to the box?

I want to record a few shows so I can watch it upstairs while family is downstairs watching tv.

I only have a single telewest box connected to the livingroom tv.

Cheers mates.

Gabe.

If its only when you go to teleport tv then I think its the box, to stop you taping a whole series, sky does somthing simular.
