im a bit addicted to buying new shiny things that go beep...

basically, as soon as my contract is up, im trying to get the latest phone for free if not practically free.

but i know i dont have the best phone in the world, but it certainly does me well..

I have the N70.... what phones do you have and what do you reccomend?

I see Aaronleo has two phones, one for each side of his head only joking A... but it interesting why people have more than one phone.

is it because people with more than one phone are dodgy?


you guys in the states MUST get different phones to us in the UK, so what do you carry around?





of course this thread is purely engineered in order so i can find out the best phones before my contract runs out later in the year

I've got a really cheap Samsung phone, I'm not sure what the exact model is. It works surprisingly well, but I picked it mostly because it was the cheapest and most basic phone my wireless place had. I'm not really into a bunch of features on my phone, just give me something basic that can make phone calls reliably.

but you do surprise me with the D807, thought you would be up for something more flashy, lol. maybe you can hook up with Aaronleo, he's got a afew Samsungs..

i cant use any other phones apart from Nokia and Sony Ericssons. those two phones are almost the same in text input etc.. very similar phones.

tried using Motorola and Samsung, but its just too way out weird!

i think i want wifi on my next phone, but probably not that Apple phone, looks good.. crap camera tho

so does everyone in America have Samsungs or are Samsungs just really popular over there? i would say its Nokia and Sony E over here...

Motorola's are some of the most unreliable phones about, mine crapped out on me completely within about a year and a half.

I currently have a Sony Ericsson Walkman pone (w800i) and I love it, got a 512 mb card for music in it too

yeh, I had a k750i.. used the same mem stick as the psp I think the W800i does too.. that was one great phone!


why do so many phones use stupid mem crads? they should ALL USE sony's Pro Duo imo

seriously though, my last phone was that rubik nokia, that one that twists (anyone know it.. no? ...no? lol) anyway, it had a Micro SD card,, fkg the size of it was ridiculous, it was the size of a smurfs belt buckle.. and im not joking!

anyway, Goten, you saying motorolas arent relieable, thats weird because wasnt they one of the first to make phones? you would of thought they would of been among the best?

Motos suck because they designed one motherboard for their last generation of phones. A motherboard that was so horrifically defective it's not even funny. I've gone through 3 Razrs already.

I reiterate: piece of shit.

I don't know a single Razr owner who hasn't had issues with their phone.

I actually love my dad's "old school" cell phone. It's not that old, maybe three years, but it doesn't have photos, video, or music. Hell, it doesn't even have color. But the battery lasts days upon days. I slept over my friends house Friday, kept the thing on for the whole weekend, and when I looked on Monday to check if I needed to recharge it, it still had 2/3 bars full.
