i got a N95 now (dont think i had it when this post started)... amazing phone.

big screen, 5m CZ lens camera, wifi.. love it.

shame it crashes all the flipping time

I stilll have the same Motorola V525 I mentioned in this thread a year ago.

It's been playing up for a while and I am just waiting for it to break completely.

that's one ugly phone. Not going to lie.

So what carriers do you brits use? When I was over there in the fall I bought an O2 sim card and it had pretty good coverage (and I thought it was pretty cool that I got perfect service in the middle of the Irish Sea) and others got Orange or something. The biggest competitors here are AT&T and Verizon, what are the top dogs of the UK?

I agree but it was ok for the price and features a few years ago.

For such a small place we have quite a few carriers. Virgin, Vodafone, O2, 3, Orange and T-Mobile. All major competitors with a few minor ones too.

I use Vodafone.

I'll be in the market for a new 1 next month. I've been doing my research and I can not make up my mind. I have ATT by the way. I like the slider phones but am worried about the screen on the outside. I move vending machines for a living, so it could be abused. Need a toughy.

I had the same worries about the screen, and so far it's only gotten dusty, but I keep it in my pocket with the screen facing my leg. I only work RiteAid though so it's less risk than moving large machines, but I do a fair share of moving shelving and boxes
