Can we make new forum rules?

I was just thinking if we can vote on a new forum rule. Rule being, the ability to take a forum vote to vote someone off the forum. Just thought we could use this.

i agree.. sort of.

i dont know about you guys, but psxe has changed since the last trials. i think psxe seems to me like its going through a period of change, like a wounded animal that has been really bad tempered but is now trying its damn hardest to make up for things.

i like evil Psxe, but i understand why we are being overly nice to people now. trying not to be a clique but an open forum.. but i do miss the old days. im sure in time we will have the trails back.. i do hope for that.

so maybe what GD is asking for is a good thing? im not saying it should be up to all of us, maybe the senior members amongst us can vote? i dont know. but then if we do have this new rule, we will never have another trial, because we'll just vote them off when they get stupid rather than letting them hang themselves.

im kinda torn on this one GD... Hmmmm

If someone ever get's 100 Forum 70k3Nz (Manufactured by Dmitry Malayev aka Dmitry M. aka Lazer). I will allow that person to ban anyone from the forum for 1 week. That's right anyone including Val...*looks to make sure Val is no where to be found*...

Currently there is only 1 Forum 70k3N in my possession and i give it to no one. mwahahahaha....

To be serious, though, this really is just a bad idea. It turns the forum into a popularity contest. If enough people don't like you you can be banned? Sorry, that's a load of fetid monkey jizz.

This is the whole reason we have mods and admins, and not even speaking of myself I think folks like Dmitry and Val and Sunny and Goosh have a damn good grasp on what is and is not good for the forum. If you think about it, people who are really bad for this forum NEVER last long because they get dealt with.

So, I will say that if you really think someone needs to go, you should PM a mod or admin and explain why. I won't speak for any other mod here and obviously folks like Val and Dmitry have WAY more authority than I do, but if you PM me and have a REALLY good reason, I promise to at least pass it on to the people who actually make the policy here. I don't make policy, I just enforce it.
