Default Daily Show or Colbert Report?

I wanted to know which people prefer and why.

Personally i think the Colbert Report is a lot more interesting and funny. Stephen Colbert's comedy is extremely witty and what i enjoy the most is how he keeps a serious face on him every time something funny is said or happens.

Though i like both shows i think Colbert report is a lot better, hey plus I'm a republican.

I hope you don't think that he is too...

While I like both shows a lot, I'd probably lean towards the Daily Show. I can't really think of a good reason off the top of my head, it just consistently makes me laugh more.

I don't know it seems to me from what i've seen. Though they both don't right out say it, John Stewart is Democrat and Stephan Colbert in Republican. I could be wrong but it seems like it in the way they show themselves in the show. Meh, even before i thought Colbert was republican i loved the show. I started to like him on Daily Show and i was ecstatic when i heard he was getting his own show.

Colbert is being sarcastic. He's playing the role of the sterotypical over the top Republican as a way to parody pundits like Bill O'Reily. I thought that was pretty obvious from just watching the show, but apparently not to everyone. In interviews outside of the show he's made it very clear that's he a Democrat.

Yeah i know he was being sarcastic many times but i still thought he was republican...well guess i just got schooled.

That still doesn't change my view on the show. Still think it's better then Daily Show.

I definitely prefer JS. Colbert's brand of "humor" just doens't do it for me. The whole gimmick of trying to make people look like idiots by taking their comments out of context, putting them in absurd situations, or asking them idiotic questions while pretending to be serious is lame. JS's humor, while cynical, is much less offensive to me. Honestly, a very little of either goes a long way.

I take it that no one likes the Colbert Report show. What about 'South Park'??? who thinks that show's funny?
