Default Democrats in controll..What do you think?

Do you guys think its good that the democrats now have controll of the House and Senate? Personally, I'm a little scared. I don't like their views at all on almost everything. So are you mad or glad? All you Brits can give your opinion as well

I'm not really sure how I feel; I tend to prefer conservatives at the federal level because I'm fairly fiscally conservative, but I'm also in line with most liberals on a lot of social issues, so it's not totally the end of the world.

I am pretty surprised considering how big of a cluster**** the Democratic party has been the last few years. If that disorganized mess can get control of Congress, I think it's a pretty clear sign that the Republican party is headed in the wrong direction.

Anxiously awaiting an angry Ryan reply .

If the democrats want to keep up the fight in Iraq and take a very hardline on immigration/benefit fraud/unemployment then I give them a thumbs up.

Hilary being nominated would be the best thing that ever happened to the Republican party. She'd get crushed.

For some reason i have my doubts. I think she would lose but not be crushed.

As far as democrats controlling senate, well all i hope is that this country doesn't go down to hell.

I don't know if it's right or not but I seem to remember some democrats having the opinion that we should just pull out of Iraq and f**k over the civilians there by leaving them to the insurgents. What a screwed up idea that is.

I don't think there are too many people calling for us to immediately pull out and leave things the way they are. We're in this mess now, we're sort of obligated to finish, though god only knows how long that's going to take. The argument most are making is that we should never have been there in the first place. Which isn't really an unresonable one.

It's just too bad that we couldn't find one part that was willing to avoid overspending and implement social conservatism at the same time...

As for the disorganized Dems pulling of the collective victory, from what I understand, much of the credit is due to the head of the Dem party - Dean (of "YeeeeeeeHAAaaaaaaw" fame).
