Default One step further from PS3

I had to cough up nearly £750 for my motorbike service.

That's put me £750 further away from owning a PS3.

What a crock.

Damn, I hope that was a good service Gabe, 750 nuggets for a service. Your bike better be like StreetHawk now mate.

If we have the PS3 by next Christmas I may get it too

Street Hawk! I loved that bike

It does seem to run a lot better but I have to admit it was painful to hand over the cash. Another service due in 4000miles. aagh.

It seems most of us are aiming for a PS3 purchase around next Christmas. At least we'll be able to play online together without any of us having an unfair practice advantage.

What in the world did you have done?! That seems more like a major repair cost than a "service" cost.

£405 for the service
£25 for a brake fluid change
£190 for two new Dunlop tires
£105 for a camchain tensioner. I'm just glad it wasn't the camchain itself.

It still seems expensive to me. I have never paid more than 400 for a major car service. Still I suppose there may be more involved in a bike I have no idea what though.

Do you mean it was 405 for labor charges to change the brake fluid, tires, and the tensioner? Wow. That's pricey labor. I think your fuel savings are going out the window.

I think you're right.

The £405 was just for everything that is standard to a service, whatever that is.

I think someone doesn't like me. I got up on Saturday morning and saw that some moron has fired a pellet through my porch window. I need to look online today and see where I can buy a replacement from and then let the insurers know.
