Yeah, but it's more fun out of context like that.

But I was refering to how you started to hate Shaq as soon as he left LA, even though he basically acts exactly like he always has. And I was mostly kidding. No need for rolling eyes.

Yeah, I tried to go with the big teeth smiley, but it kept putting in the lower case "d," not sure why.

My rolleyes was meant to be taken as, "Doo dee doo - who? me?" I couldn't find a really good smiley for that, so I got lazy...

Anyhow, I knew what you meant. Sorry for the miscommunicado.

Oh, and the reason I came into this thread:

The Cavs and the Spurs both looked pretty good tonight. More specifically, the Cavs looked good as a team, and Duncan looked very spry individually. I was almost shocked to see how freely & quickly he was moving around. Quite a contrast to the end of last season; he must have been really hurting.

And how 'bout those Lakers? Not too happy that they got complacent and blew that 20 point first quarter lead, but at least they pulled it out in the end. It was interesting to listen to the Kobe half-time interview, though. He was actually winded. Don't think I've ever heard him winded before - ever. But I was encouraged by how he played, even if he was really rusty. That is, I was encouraged by his approach, even if he's obviously not as polished as he usually is.

I think Jalen Rose will fit in well with Phoenix. I'm sort of excited to watch him play in that system. I was a big fan of the fab five (Michigan), so I was glad to hear he got out of the pit that is New York.

The Cavs/Spurs game was a pretty good one. The Cavs (and LeBron in particular) looked good. And you're right, Duncan looked great. That's nice to see, he seems like a good guy, and it was sad to watch him struggle through so much pain last year. I think he's in for a big year, he can't be satisfied with how last year ended for them.

Didn't watch the Lakers' game. I would imagine that it'll take Kobe a few games to get back into the swing of things; he'll probably struggle to get his endurance and polish back for a bit longer.

I like the Jalen Rose pickup too. He's obviously a talented guy, and everyone does better in that system, so it should work out well. Just another example of how smart the Suns' organization is.

By the way, the Utah Jazz are currently undefeated and Carlos Boozer is killing people. I just think that this needs to be pointed out for posterity's sake, so that when they miss the playoffs yet again I can come back, look at this post, remember a happier time, and smile.

I've been meaning to comment on how well they're playing, but I was afraid to upset their flow (for your sake)... Looks like you've gone and done it yourself, though. Prepare for the decline

I also think I should note that Chris Paul is slowly creeping up on LeBron James as the Offical Cowboy22 Basketball Man-Crush. I love a good point guard, and he's like an athletic John Stockton. If you get a chance to watch a Hornets' game, do it, because he's unreal.
