Yeah but once it starts back up they don't take stop with new episodes until the end of the season. I think that's a big improvement over last year when they took about a million smaller breaks during the season.

They only did 5 episodes because ABC felt they needed to get Daybreak out there before too many similar shows like it premier. This wasn't the full third season, its just a split season, with 18 new episodes strait coming feb... And the new Entertainment Weekly has a GREAAATT article about lose, and interview with the people who write it along with stephen king ( a huge fan of lost)... And they even ask king how he would end the show... and it's a damn good way to end it. Kudos Steve.

Good points. I guess I was just surprised that it was split up this way. Was expecting at least 8 episodes in Fall.
