There we were, just lying together on the couch, looking at each other, and I had the overwhelming desire to FINALLY tell her I was in love with her. I was so freaked out, I didn't know if I should, if it was too soon.

She asked what I was thinking, I told her I was afraid to tell her. She looked at me and said 'don't be scared' and by the way she said it, I knew she knew what I was thinking.

I told her "I love you" and I could almost see the emotion in her eyes and body, and she kissed me and told me "I love you, too."

After an incredibly difficult week, I just had the best day of my life.

I just wanted to share my happiness!

It's always nice when it works out that you both feel the same way.

When I first told my wife I loved her, she told me she wasn't ready to say it yet. She thought she could soon, but not at that time.

Which was a little weird, but not that bad. And hey, it worked out in the end anyhow :P

Wish you two well, Ryan. Glad you capped a bad week with a good thing.

Thanks Svosen. I was pretty much afraid she'd do what your wife did. I'm glad it worked out for you, but I'm sure you also know that in many cases that spells disaster.

Either way, I'm just about as happy as an like me could possibly be right now
