College Football Topic!

So who do you guys support. And what are youre thoughts on this season.

I'm really excited. I actually support 3 teams. West Virginia, Purdue, and Texas. Ive always been a horns fan. Thats been my team for a long time. I support West Virginia cause there the home team. And Purdue because thats where my favorite college player of all time came from, Drew Brees.

im not that big of a college fan, but when i do watch it, i always back the miami hurricanes...alot of great professional players come from there, including ray lewis and clinton portis

I love college foootball, even more than pro. My team is the Iowa Hawkeyes, and I'm really excited for this season. They've got a really good team this year; strong on D with Greenway and Hodge and on O All-Big Ten QB Drew Tate and a great reciever corps are back. If they can put together any kind of running game (116 out of 117 teams nationally last year...and they STILL went 10-2 and tied for the Big Ten Title) we could contend for the national title.

Yeah, Iowa should have a great season. I'm also a bigger fan of college than I am of the NFL. This should be a great weekend when it comes to college football also. Alot of nice games.

Tough loss cowboy, its a shame tate went out so early. Could have been a amazing game.

The whole team played like shit. Stupid penalties left and right, turnovers, dropped passes, it was painful to watch. Manson isn't Tate (please come back soon Drew) but he's pretty good, he just wasn't getting any help from the rest of his team. They're a much better team than that and should have beaten the hell out of Iowa State but hopefully this will be a wake up call for them. Three years ago the Brad Banks lead Big Ten Title team lost early to ISU and then didn't lose another game until the Orange Bowl. Hopefully we'll see something like that again.

Other than that pretty interesting day of games. The Notre Dame win was impressive (although I HATE Notre Dame) as was Texas beating a good OSU team pretty soundly. And Oklahoma looked bad again against Tulsa, looks like they won't be the power we've come to know.

Yeah TCU beat a ok Oklahoma team last week, then turns around and loses one of the worst games ever. But like i said, im a TCU grad, so am used to crazy ass games, and when i was there, mostly losses........ Oh well lets see how the NFL shapes up today, another day another dollar. And yes, UT does look for real this year! Im in their corner, they have been needing this forever...

TCU has to play Utah tonight. Utah has won 16 in a row, so this would be a humongous upset for them to come back after last weeks total ass whip. Lets see if the Frogs have the cajones to even stay in the game!

The Utah team they played tonight isn't anywhere near the same team that went undefeated last year but big win for TCU tonight. Great game to watch.

Yeah apparently Utah had won 18 straight, not just 16, amazing indeed. Wherever TCU found that found, grats to them, that freshmen running back turned the tide for em.........
