Forgot about this thread there for awhile.

Iowa won a closer than the final score game with Indiana, a much improved team from last year. They're well coached, and have one incredible wide out (Brody, Brady? Something like that.) who burned Iowa all game long. I was worried for awhile, but the Hawks pulled it out in the end, mostly due to yet another strong day on the ground. I can't even begin to describe how nice it is to have a running game again. It was fun watching Tate run around and make every single play last year, but having a balanced attack should help him and the team long term. Iowa is really starting to heat up again as the season goes on, like they seem to do every year. I'm pumped about the next game against Michigan, who are coming off a big win over Penn State. Hopefully they avenge last year's one-sided loss.

Incredible day for college football in general last Saturday. Along with the Hawks, I caught the incredible USC/Notre Dame game. I may not like the Irish but I've got some respect for them after that game, they've got a seriously good team. Amazing the difference a coach can make.

Yeah the Notre Dame vs. SC game really rocked, it goes down in history as one of the best ever. Its good to see TCU keep their ranking by beating downtrodden Army, and Texas is definitely looking like the team to beat in their division. They play upstart Texas Tech next week, but beat them soundly last year, this will be a game to keep an eye on though........... was a good weekend for college football indeed.............

I'm not yet ready to rationally discuss the Iowa/Michigan game. I feel like someone just kicked me in the chest.
