PSX Extreme traffic is two times higher than it was 9-12 months ago but lower than our peak times that we had several years ago.

I should note that Summers are always the slowest for us. I guess less people are not indoors with the good weather and all.

I could have sworn you posted there, at least once in a while.

Anyways, there were about three debates there in the span of weeks, and one didn't count because it was Raptor making a poll that said something like:

"Who will win the 2003 MLB Title?

A. The Red Sox
B. The Red Sox
C. Some team besides the Yankees
D. The Red Sox"

The problem wasn't topics or reason to talk there. It was lack of members.
Oh, man, I remember that forum. I haven't been there in years. That was a bunch of guys who left MediaFuzion to start their own site. I never really went there that often, and then stopped going like three years ago.

It's dead now?

It was shut down a year or two ago. A lot of people offered to help pay for the costs for the year, but it wasn't worth it since there were so little people there.

That's good news, but I don't understand how there isn't more people at least browsing the forums if traffic is up.

Perhaps because the links to the forums on the main page are hard to find for first-time viewers? Maybe you could make a small button or banner advertising the forums that anyone could easily see?

I know we have talked about it before, the reply message feature can be helpful in keeping people on a topic, knowing that they have a response to a topic that they had posted in. It doesnt work on this forum, so it doesnt help people stay involved in the forum...

I'm assuming you're talking about the reply emails. They are working but for some reason they are not getting to about 80% of recipients. If any of you are receiving them, let me know here and also let me know what email provider you use. I've tried to troubleshoot this before with no luck.

Can I throw out a theory?

A lot of sites, such as Yahoo and G-mail, have SPAM lists. If enough people report an e-mail provider for SPAM, the messages from that site get put into your bulk folder, spam folder, or just into the trash. Maybe people got sick of receiving those e-mails. I was. Even when I turned of the feature in my options, the e-mails kept coming, so I blocked PSXextreme.

Others might have just skipped blocking it and went right to reporting it.

Well even if i got em, they wouldnt open up for some reason, the links would be broken. It works on other forums, helps keep me interested in threads i am talking in. Cant hurt to try and get it working right, you will see more response, almost guaranteed........

I get them but don't really need to use them. It's a good feature though.

FYI I use a MSN.com accounts.
