Why is it that the majority of males feel the need to have sex with as many females as possible? I see it this alot on some forums (not this one).

"I get laid more than you blah blah blah"

"Do you get alot of chicks with that car?"

"You probably get tons of ***** with that bike (motorcycle)."

etc etc etc

I guess Im one of the few that doesnt feel this way. The fact that I found a person who I want to be with for the rest of my life makes me feel awesome. The thought of never having sex with a different girl is NOT a bad one. I feel priviledged to have found someone who makes me feel this way.

I know what you mean Matt, I personally feel that the goal in relationships is being with someone you really can be good friends with and makes you happy. Don't get me wrong, sex is totally awesome, but I just don't see it as a goal in life. Just happiness with someone you love.

Just take a look at media and see how much sex is thrown at our faces - could this have something to do with it? Sex sells, and the media tells us that that's all we need to feel good and have a good time. I'd like to say that it's a "Western culture" thing, but it's probably quite prevalent on a more global scale.

I am still a virgin and have no problem saying that, even if other people bug me for it - it's something I can still take pride in saying, actually. My Christian beliefs lead me to stay that way until I become married. Sex is something that's very intimate between a man and a woman, something to show one's love for another person. At least that's how it used to be; now people just throw it around because it feels good and have sex with whoever they want. It's sort of a sad state of affairs in my opinion. I totally agree with you guys, finding somebody that you can have a quality relationship with and be happy with for the rest of your life is awesome. I have yet to come across that person for myself...

The best part of sex is the pleasure you SHARE with the other person.

Actually, the most enjoyable part is the pleasure you give - both emotional and physical.

If you're just in it for the physical, you're missing the best part. You just as well be alone.

Personally, I'm glad the long list of mistakes I made in my youth doesn't include sleeping with someone other than my wife. That's baggage I'm glad I'm not carrying around.
