It's a horrible thing to see. Once she's gone then our second rat probably won't be far behind as they are very close.
My 16 year old cat died while I was holding it... then he peed on me.

I accidentally ran up on my cat of 15 1/2 years back in May. Dont think im going to get another cat since you really get attached to them just to have something happen someday that can really bring you down. When my first cat died i was blurry for a week. I will always love em, but kinda like kids, enjoy somebody else's, lol...

I've had cats my entire life, and I know what you mean, you grow so attached, like they're your child, family member, friend. I've missed having cats so much.. But this spring my mom decided to let me ger a new kitten, so we eneded up getting one, even though I think it was more for her, being alone at the house while I'm at school... Anyways, soon enough, we ended up getting another about a week or two later.
I love cats, especially now my little kitten Neko, she's so cute I could just squeeze her til she poops.
(haha I don't remember where I heard that before)

Yeah I miss that cat everyday, and her lil kittens are getting sooooooooo cute. I'm getting a lil too attached to one I think though...It's the Calico (Kali) and it's starting to follow me around everywhere and sleep by my bed now.

Sorry to hear about your rat, and sorry about you getting peed on Norrec...

One thing is for sure on the kid thing, like Farf said, "I will always love em, but kinda like kids, enjoy somebody else's"

I have tooo many friends with kids and nephews and everyone got a kid but me so at least when it finaly does happen I'll have plenty of experience at least.
