I like that you've kept the same basic design as it gives the two sites a signature look. The name is hilarious and I love it but I thought you may have picked something along the same lines as psxextreme to offer another linking similarity. Also, there is no link on the very top white bar for the Forums. Just a minor point.

Are you changing the forum name so it doesn't sound so PS specific? Any thoughts as to what it should be?

I actually really don't like the name, nor the nerds candy font for the work 'nerds' in the logo... but it's nowhere near my choice.

Alan Wake is new game by the folks who make the Max Payne series. I believe its being called a psychological action thriller or something to that effect.

I'l be pulling double-duty for both PSXE and XBN by posting news during E3 from here at home-- while the others are on location in LA. Those of you who have been here for awhile probably remember that I did something similar in 2003.

The name seems a little off to me; I don't personally care, but some people may not like the implication that the XBox fans are nerds while the PS fans are "Extreme."

Mind you, I'm certainly not calling for "XBoxExtreme." Just a different name than "nerds," perhaps.

Or not. Like I said, it makes no difference to me.

Otherwise, I agree that it's nice they are basically layed out in similar fashion; makes it easy to get around both sites.

Hope it turns out well for all you XBox owners/fans.

Actually we are calling ourselves "Xbox Nerds" here, not the audience.

I wish the domain name XboxExtreme.com wasn't taken, but it was, so we had to think of something new. Of the many names we had in mind, most people seemed to like the Xbox Nerds so we went with that.
