So...who's heard the new System of a Down?
I've been listening it for the past 3 days non-stop. Myself and a handful of others agree, it's downright fantastic. Old School Hollywood may very well be their best song ever...that riff is bliss.

It's a ****ing great album, maybe not as good as some of the older stuff, but still fantastic. Revenga and This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm On This Song are my two favourite tracks at the momment, but I do like all of them. Pretty short for a System of A Down album though, only 37 minutes long, suppose its because of Hypnotize, if you put them together, they'll be pretty long.
EDIT: I cant wait to see them live! Its only like, a month away now.

I just picked this album up today and I have been listening to it up non stop. Its ****ing amazing. I love Cigaro,BYOB, Old school Holywood. If you haven't already, go pick this album out.

It took me a lot of listening to get into some of the tracks Cowboy, maybe you should give it another try. What didnt you like about it?

I like their music alot. Ive never been thrilled with the singers. But I definately like the music.

That's pretty much it for me as well, I'm okay with the music, I can't stand the lead singer. I could tolerate him on Toxcitity, he annoys me on their last couple albums for whatever reason.

I happen to love Serj's voice, he isn't the best singer around, but IMO his voice works perfectly with the rest of the band. What's not so great about these songs on the album is that Daron (the guitarist for those none the wiser) sings in all of them and is even lead singer on a few of them. He's ok as a backing singer, and he works well with Serj in all the songs, I just prefer Serj's voice over his.
