Xbox forum (XboxExtreme??) - Page 3

I also think that Sony and MS will be the last two standing with Nintendo being a distant 3rd.

I'll let you in on a little secret. An Xbox/Xbox2 site has been in the works for about a month now.

As for the forums, it would be best for everyone if we use one for both sites.

I quite like the forum design. I'd say all it needs is a name change to represent the multiple formats.

We don't plan to make changes to the forum (other than the name & logo perhaps). This forum is quick to load without all the fancy graphic designs, and that is the most important when it comes to a forum.

your forum is the slowest forum i frequent on, and i go to about 15+ forums. and the main page, doesn't work well with firefox. but both of these issues seem to get ignored anytime i bring them up

The forum is pretty quick here and I have spoke to people in other locations who said the same or at least that its normal. As for FireFox, I just tested the forum with it, didn't see any issues. We have also ran a bunch of FireFox compatability fixes for PSX Extreme (the site) earlier this year.

I used to have firefox problems where the ads would cover up an article, but I don't have that problem now, not for awhile actually. Also, the forums are extremely fast for me.

well i can now confirm i no longer see problems with firefox and your news. but what would you suggest with the speed problem? it takes between 5-10 seconds for every page to load. no other site on the net takes this long

I just started using firefox, and was hesitant to, cause you guys had problems in the past. Works fine for me. Speed seems decent, though sometimes it seems to hang a little bit.

What's so good about Firefox? I don't mean to get off-topic here, but what's not to like with Internet Explorer? I never found anything great about Netscape or the other browsers.
