Default Just when I thought I couldnt be any more stressed

Between work, my foot, my crazy personnal life (only mods know what Im refering too, sorry)...

Im not 100% up on my facts here, so some of this could be wrong.

My uncle is close to death. Few weeks ago he started having really really bad seizures (hes epileptic). So bad they were borderline brain damaging. Hes on medication for them, but he has bad epilepsy. The doctors kept upping his medicine but his dosage was way to high and his seizures wouldnt stop. They had to induce a coma to get them to stop and he was pretty much overdosing. Last I heard he has major brain damage and practically no brain activity and hes still in a coma. If he does come out of it, his brain is so badly damaged... I think at this point hes relying on machines to keep him alive. Theres supposed to be some family meeting at the hospital soon to discuss what to do.

I need to get away from all of it for a little, hence the trip to Niagara.

I know what you mean shirt. Ive been having some major problems with my leg the past month or so. The DNR is up our ass 24/7 at work. And a good friend of mine was killed in a car accident 2 nights ago. Thinks are crazy right now. And I know exactly how you feel. My nerves are shot, i'm losing sleep, and no matter what I do, I cannot relax.

I hope everything works out, and i'm sorry to hear about your grandpa.

Makes me think about my own life. Hes young, Im sure theres lots of shit that he would have regret not doing now if he was conscious. Kind of gives me a new outlook. I could die tomorrow, so **** holding back on anything. Sort of a "Carpe Diem" mentality.

Shit, sorry bout that shirt. I was talking about my grandpa on msn with someone when I posted that. Sorry for the typo. That makes it even tougher when its someone thats pretty young.

I'm still in shock. Three nights ago i'm talking to someone ive known my whole life. I went to school with the guy. And it just doesn't seem real that something like this could happen. He was only 26 and killed at that age by the combination of a hear attack and a car accident, just doesn't seem realistic.

I can only imagine how you feel, it just doesn't seem right that anyone should ever have to make that type of decision. I hope everything works out for your family, I can only imagine what kind of toll that would take on me emotionally.

It sucks when someone close to you dies or is near death.. I'm sorry to hear about your respective uncles, grandpas and friends..

In my junior year of highschool, one of my friends wrecked his truck coming home from a baseball practice, killed instantly.
Last year, the wife of my dad's friend passed away of a heart attack, and she was always like a grandmother to me.
This year, 2 of my friends died of drug overdoses, one of meth (a pretty disturbing story about what happened when he died) and the other of various undisclosed drugs..
My uncle passed away of cancer in september. That probably hurt me the most.

I guess the thing to think is that this is how life goes. You have to accept it and let your life continue. In my uncles case, at least it was a comfort to know he went peacefully, in his home, which is what he would have wanted, and he isn't hurting anymore.

I'm almost in tears just thinking about it now...
