I can't beleive it

I got my report card yesterday.....I finally got a 4.0! I can't beleive it. I havent done this before, but there was two other people in my class that got it. Who else here has gotten this?

It means he got at least 93 in all of his subjects, I think. I don't know if an A+ offsets an A- or anything like that, but at least that's how it works in college.

He's talking about GPA... grade point average.

EDIT: Oh yeah, congratulations, that's something real tough to pull off, in high school or in college.

he's right, HS is kind of a joke. and for explaining the GPA process to him........thats kinda tricky. I dont know how it exactly works.
My lowest grade was a 94% in english, but I think my higher math grade pulled it up, so it evened out or something.

A = 4 points
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1
F = 0

Take the total number of points and divide by the number of classes you're taking. So if I got two Bs and two As, I've got a total of 14 "quality points." Then I divide by my four classes: 14/4 = 3.5. A 4.0 denotes straight As. Congratulations, nhonetschlager.

I got a 4.0 last semester in college, and it was during my 21st birthday. However, I don't encourage this sort of banter. Just remember, though, that heavy amounts of alcohol can lead to good things.
