I tried a cigarette for the first time when I was 17. I didn't do it to be cool, I didn't do it to fit in. I was just curious to what it would feel like. I've never gotten addicted to cigarettes, but I'll have a cigarette on rare occassions if I'm drinking. Even with that, I think smoking is pretty ridiculous and expensive. Then again, so it is a lot of stuff, so I really don't care what people like to do.

I personally don't get the appeal, but I say if people understand the risks and still want to do it, and as long as they respect the wishes of people who don't want to be around them while they smoke, **** it, let 'em. I really don't understand the hardcore anti-tobacco movement at all.

Yea, I never force someone to inhale my smoke, and if someone nicely asks me tp put it out, i will. I respect other peoples wishes.

I don't care if people smoke, I'm just personally totally against smoking. I wish people who smoked here at school would at least obey the rules though, having a tropic of cancer around the exits to my dorm building is a ****ing pain in the ass.
Sure, you can smell like smoke, but smoke away from the doors like you're supposed to so i dont have to.

I hate people who smoke at bus stops. They have a complete lack of respect for others.

I'm pretty sure those are the issues behind the "hardcore anti-tobacco movement." The complete and total lack of respect for others.

I'm by no means trying to start an argument, nor do I have a particular standpoint on either side. I can just see the logic on both ends.

This debate will just be another social facade in which no one will ever be happy no matter what happens.

Personally, I'll probabaly never have to deal with the unwanted effects of second hand smoke, so I don't give a shit. Not speaking for all of course.

That and tobacco is a huge economical cash cow, and despite how lowly and sad that may be, it would still be quite the burden to ever think about labeling it as contraband.

But to shit with all this stuff. If you want to be cool just smoke pot, like me.

No, we did, G, but you're being challenged anyway! Go on, tell them how much pot you smoke! You risk not being cool if you don't!
