well what d'ya know.
I've just found out that the drummer of the live band I went to see on Tuesday is the backup drummer for Motorhead!
The lead singer of the band is actually a colleague at work. It was a Bowie tribute night and although it wasn't the sort of music I'd listen to at home it was pretty damn good.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.
Jason, the lead singer had only met the individuals about 3 weeks before due to advertising on the internet for a Bass, Guitar and Drum to play at a Bowie night. They were pretty damn good.
