Default Hardware problems

Hi guys,

Our PC at home suddenly shut itself off yesterday and we can't get it to come back on. We can't even get a power light.

We've checked the fuse and it's fine so it must be something in the tower itself.

Any ideas what it could be or how we'd go about repairing it?

Thanks,

Michael

Ok if you click the button on pc it doesnt turn on?

And you say suddenly shut off. Seems like it could be 1 of 2 things. Either your motherboard of the power supply.

I asked one of the tech guys at work and he said it was probably the power supply.

We've taken it to be repaired. I'm just dreading the bill.

I was told it would be about £40 for a power supply unit.
