So how is your nominated team doing after the first couple of games?

Sheffield United is having a pretty poor start to things with a draw and a loss. Hopefully things will pick up more over the next few matches.

well my nominated team is Liverpool, so a 1-1 with Spurs is not to bad especially now Owen has gone to Real. I think Cisse will proove to be a better option with Baros this season anyhow..

Watched the Arsenal and Chelsea matches yesterday and must say that Arsenal looked quality, as always

but the Chelsea allstars looked pretty poor even though they beat Man U. I think Manu played way better and deserved at least a draw. Still its a funny old game.

Hopefully Liverpool will be there or there abouts this season

Aston Villa beat Southampton 2-0! woooooooot Carlton Cole looks like a very promising player, should give JP. Angel and Vassel a run for their money!
On the other hand my home town Wrexham (I support the Villa because my dad is a brummy) lost 1-0 to Brentford, not very good at all, I could see us getting bust by christmas time.

Our other Sheffield team is getting it's ass handed to it. Sheffield Wednesday were drawing up to the 85th minute then the other team scored 3 before the whistle blew !!

As always you have to put the boot in about my team. Although this time i do agree. We played like England normally play we assumed we were safe and let our guard down and surprise surprise they kicked our backsides. British teams tend not to have the stamina of others, they are too naive. xxx
