My latest setback.......

So I was on my lunchbreak the other day getting my check cashed....finished that, and headed out to my dad's truck (i'm driving it while my car is getting worked on.)

I hop in, start it up and check behind me to back out.....

I'm in the road, looking behind me and backing up...no cars behind me, so I turn my head forward to put the truck in Drive and pull out and head back to work....CRUNCH.

only thing is, my dad's truck is a 2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab...that sits on 20 inch wheels.....because when I looked in my rear-view mirror to see what I had hit....I didn't see ANYTHING AT ALL.

So I put the truck in drive, and pulled forward....got out, then I saw it, this girl in a 2005 nissan altima, had pulled up right on my ass while I was backing up, and just sat there and let me back up onto the top of her hood....

My dads bumper got a little dent and some scratched paint.

Her entire passenger side corner of her hood was caved in and scratched to shit...including her quarter panel and headlight....

right now it's still un-determined who's at fault....there were no witnesses....although she is saying she has one. There was a cop there who took the report, and the only people he talked to was her and I.....so I don't know where this witness magically appeared from.

She's also saying she was honking her horn....

Like my accident Voice last year the girl will magically pull the witness out of her ass.

I don't doubt that she'll get it as none fault at the very least, she may even manage to get you to be at fault.

It sucks when people lie like that and they always seem to get away with it.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Except I was the one who got backed into, at a stop sign.

His insurance paid to fix my Integra, and they paid for my rental for 4 days while the Teg got fixed.

that was the decision.

because I had my radio on.

Just how far/close was she to your car? She could've been at fault if she'd been on your ass. But if you didn't get your side of the story recorded by the cop, then obviously they'll take her word before yours. Sorry about your car woes.
