okay, i was shown this site, and it truely disgusts me. i believe in free speech and all of that...but this goes way over the line in my opinion.

here's a really quick idea of what his sight is about. he believes people should go to jail for looking at porn. he also believes that people should go to jail for, using contraceptives, and for engaging in oral or anal sex.

he believes in a dress code that doesn't allow women to wear pants...and other dumb things.

i would like to note that he want to abolish the theory of evolution, and along with that he is (seemingly) very religious.

and also a very big bigot.

anyway, just a warning....i think most of you may become offended by what he has to say. so if you want, check it out:

Guys, please don't get the idea that this is what Christians are like. Although this guy has got some good ideals, he is going WAY overboard, and he is coming at it from an angle that is completely ridiculous. He is EXTREMELY into legalism, which is not what christianity is about at all.
It sickens me to see people claim to be God fearing, and then act like this...

One simple rule of Christianity: If you can't support your views with scriptural references, then they aren't views shared by God. Period.

I've never read anything in the Bible saying that oral/anal sex is a sin. It's who you perform it with that makes the difference.


edit: While the Bible doesn't say anything directly about pornography, it's pretty easy to come to the conclusion that it leads to sexual excitement, isn't it? That being said, you should probably make sure you have a way to vent that excitement without sinning (if you're concerned with living a Christian life). Keep in mind that the Bible tells us that even thinking about having sexual congress with someone other than our spouse (ie - ANYONE, if you're not married) is equal to adultery (which is a sin). If you're actually able to view pornography without thinking about having sex with someone other than your spouse, then I guess you're not sinning. However, you are indirectly supporting the act of sin committed by the people engaged in the pornography (unless their are married, I suppose).

Anyhow, I'm not that in control of myself, so I try my best to avoid porn.

And before any of you call me a hypocrit - YES, I have sinned, and regardless of how hard I try not to, I will continue to sin. Some of these sins involve the acts of 'visual adultery' described above. The mark of the Christian is to try to avoid these situations. Everyone stumbles, including me. So the best I/we can do is try.
