9700 = 128 bit
9800 = 256 bit

I'm sticking with my nvidia geforce4 ti4200. I figure that will get me through doom 3. Then i may upgrade. I recomend this card man. It's a good card and you can find them for around 150.

Don't listen to him he knows shit about videocards. If you compare the 2 games in something like UT2k3 without using like i said before "Artificial Benchmarks" which only ATI cards support then 4600 kills it. Since 3DMarks 2003 supports "Artificial Benchmarks" About the 9800 Pro it's still a 128mb video card. I'll wait for a 256mb one which probably both Nvidia and ATI will release in a year or 2.

I mean yes i disagree but not on PC's specifically ony on videocards. I mean i will admit that the 9700 Pro is the best out there. But i don't beleive a Monstar like the FX card can be out rule by the 9700 Pro. I mean think about it in 3D Marks 2001 scores for 4600 were about 9000+ and scores for 9700 pro were about 10000+. Now with the release of 3D Marks 2003 the difference is more then doubled. 9700 Pro scores 5000+, even the 9200 scores 2000+ which is more then the 4600 scores. I mean it's seen that this is not correct dealing with specs. All i'm saying is that the fact of the matter is that 3D Marks 2003 was optimized and specifically meant for only ATI cards. I'm not disagreeing i'm just laying down the facts.
