I worked at EB for about 2 months. They are the biggest *******s alive. I ecspecially hate(you know how this is arnold since you worked there) when they try and make you push a product that there is not ******* way in hell it's actually going to sell well. Thats what pisses me off. You know that its shit or junk, but they still force a sales push.

My local EB, though it has changed to Game now, is quite good, even though they wouldn't sell me the Sims, so I went somewhere else and got a whole pound off!! WAHEY. If they bring that "Can't return it if you don't like it "rule over here, I'm just going to say it's faulty. Like i always do!!

I've never heard of being able to return a game for no reason after you open it. Then they can't sell it again new, right? I've taken back used games that I didn't like before. I'll have to ask some of the stores in my area if they take back games bought new for no reason. That would be one sweet deal if some of them do.

Actually there return policy, if you return a game within 14 days of the day you bought it, they will give you full value for it, then stick it back on the rack as a new game.

Boo hoo, ONLY $6.25/hr.......that's at least $9.80 CANADIAN, and you're what, 17 years old Arnold?!?! Man, minimum wage here in BC is $8/hr. , that's only $5.09 USD, and our province has the HIGHEST minimum wage in Canada!! What a joke...... Even where I work, I'm only getting $8.30/hr. and I've been there for almost 2 FRIGGIN YEARS!!! So please spare me the whining about how much you are getting paid, because it sickens me.

On the other hand, I can see why you want to quit. I HATE it how sales people push sales on the customer. That's one reason why I hate Future Shop, they're constantly hounding you if you want to buy this or that. Good for you if you're quiting for that reason, because I hate that as well.

And regarding that "return" policy. I love it, I've used it only a few times, but I think it's a beneficial policy that keeps customers coming back. That'll be too bad if they get rid of it...

It sickens you eh, Sabbas? Piss off. The reason I took the job was because it DIDN'T pay minimum wage. It paid a $1 more. The extra dollar is NOT worth it. You try working 6-10 hours on your feet, without a brake, running back and forth, trying to talk on the phone, help customers, make sure everything is being done orderly, promote the shit you have to promote (3 different things at once), put up with stupid people, and on top of all that feel your stomach rumble from hunger. Stop your ignorance, because it sickens me. My job is NOT a 6.25 job. It's not a 6.50 job. It's at least a $10 job, and I deserve at least $7. Not like I give a shit, because my main complaint was NOT my pay, it was the labor. Don't go rambling off about my whining, if you haven't experienced it first hand. Retail is very annoying, not hard, but ANNOYING. Even the managers are underpaid, $14.50 **** that.

I feel your pain arnold. For the 2 months i worked there i was so ****ing stressed it wasn't even funny.

My most memorable experience was arguing with some red neck because we couldn't give him a new PS2 through his warranty. I wanted to tear his ******* throat out.

Sabbas, remember another thing, the cost of living where you live is probably 1/2 that of where Arnold lives. There are many factors to consider, but the main ones are those that Arnold points to, and also the economic environment is of noticeable importance...
