Also NYC holds many more oppurtunities in today's life for immigrants then any other state IMO. As for the comparison of the diversity of people in NYC compared to Seattle or even any other city i don't believe any of them are even close, though they may be diverse, especially being a big city like Seattle, NYC just simply has a bigger attraction to immigrants then Seattle.

Um NYC isn't the capitol of the world. There is no capitol of the world.
Sure...OCC operates out of New York...but even THEY can't make NYC be the capitol of the world. ![]()

Also, there is a document that suggests that NYC is indeed, factually, the capital of the world. But it was more of a conspiracy theory article, so that won't hold up all too much. Regardless... NYC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Seattle. |

Well, NY > me.
I've heard that people can live in NY their entire life without seeing it all. I've seen WI pretty much in it's entirety. Well, everything worth seeing. When my mom was a stewardess she said that NY actually did not sleep. She also said she would've stayed had she not felt guilty about leaving family and friends here. My aunt Rose always talked about NY when she lived there while she was in the Army: And she has lived on all the major coasts for at least two years. I love the culture and bevy of cultures that give NY such life. I'm sure many large cities have diversity, however, I'm so intrigued by the city and state that I can't see myself living anywhere else. I've lived here my entire life, but you'd never know it. If you were to see me in person and spend a day with me, you'd see people who've known me a few years and would swear I'm from somewhere else. I get California alot because of the influence LA had on me when I was there shooting the commercial. I was a teen then, CA left an impression on me. You'd also find I'm pretty popular here, mostly from sports. My academic accomplishments are overshadowed by my physical attributes for some reason. I don't intentionally try to make myself seem better than Milwaukee, however, I would say that I've outgrown the lack of personal growth here. There is so much I want to see, most of which happen to be in NY. The buildings, theatre, nightlife, Central Park in the summer, NYC, Madison Square Garden, subway transit (I've never seen one), Central Park in the winter (I've heard that the change in seasons for this park is amazing), a helicopter tour of the skyline, etc... Like I said, NY owns.

Also unlike LA, in NYC you can see all 4 seasons the way they were supposed to be. Snow in the winter and Sunny heat in the Summer. My little step-brother used to live in Phoenix, Arizona until he was 6 and moved to NYC because my father married his mother. And he has never seen snow in his life until he was 6.
That's 1 of many reasons i enjoy living in NYC unlike any other city located more down south. I love the snow. And NYC is the city that never sleeps, from AM to PM and straight back into AM, places like Time Square, Rockefeller Center, etc... are always packed with people. I personally want to move out and live in the city once i'm older and start making some good money. Though i love the urban life in Queens, i just feel as if the city life would be so much better for me.
