John Woo minus Ben Affleck = terrific.

The Final Fantasy movie was the most amazing piece of animation I have ever seen in my life. I thought it was an awesome movie.

I also thought Resident Evil was good, with it's flaws. The second looks better....

Metroid will be the shizzle.

If the resi film had been 18 rated (or the equivalent in the US) it would have been better.

um....Resident Evil was rated R.

Remember that scene where the soldier gets diced into like 500 pieces? and in the same scene other people get sliced in half and thirds by that laser beam room?

You don't have that in a PG13 movie.

I think if it had a better supporting cast...it would've been a great movie....

Your censors really are bad.

Here in the UK, Resi was rated 15 and we still had the dicing scene in all it's glory

If I had my way.....the R rating would be treated the same as NC-17. I am so sick and tired of seeing parents take their 5 year old into movies like House of a Thousand Corpses and Dawn of the Dead.

What the **** is wrong with these parents? And why can't they pay a babysitter to watch their kids?

Well, finding reliable child care isn't easy for everyone, especially when the parents are most likely seeing a movie on the weekend. Good parents don't leave their kids with just anyone; they'd rather have their kids in a R-rated movie with them than to leave their kids with a neighbor's ditzy irresponsible daughter.

Babysitters?

Isn't that what family is for?

Here are our age ratings in order

E = Educational
U = Universal (For everyone)
12A= Can admit under 12's if with an adult
12 = Over 12 only
15 = Over 15 only
18 = Over 18 only

I think we used to use R many years ago but I haven't seen it very often. If it's full of sex or violence it just gets a 18 rating.

What are your ratings?

Out of interest, what rating was Road Trip? In our version we had full frontal female nudity and it still only had a 15 rating.

G - General Audiences
PG - Parental Guidance Suggested
PG-13 - children under 13 not admitted without adult
R - under 18 not admitted without adult
NC-17 - No children under 17 admitted ever

I just find it really trashy and irresponsible to take your kids to see a rated R movie, especially ones like Freddy VS. Jason, Kill Bill, and Dawn of the Dead...

If you have a 5 year old, wait till the movie comes out on video, or get grandma and grandpa to watch them, if you don't trust a babysitter.
