It was more based in reality becaue there was a real-life Scorpian King.

Oh, and I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but I really didn't think Christopher Walkin was very good in this movie. He was a little over-dramatic and yet somehow hard to take seriously.

I understand that the Rock is a wrestler, but I think your analogy between wrestling and this movie is a little off. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the Rock is trying to make quality movies. In other words, I don't think he wants his movies to be seen in the same light as his wrestling. If that's the case, he failed in this one.

Maybe I'm wrong - I don't know. It's all just my speculation.

In any event, I certainly won't begrudge you your taste in movies; I used to love all of Arnold's movies (Commando, Predator, etc.). The Rock's movies are pretty similar to those.

All I'm saying is that he comes from wrestling...so the action scenes are largely inspired by his wrestling background....and the fight coordinators are going to implement things they've seen The Rock do...because they know he can do them.

That's why you see The Rock giving someone the Rock Bottom....it's his signature move....that's why you see people getting busted upside the head with 2x4's and stuff....

And as far as I'm concerned...and as far as the millions.......AND MILLIONS of The Rocks fans are concerned, he HAS made quality movies...yah Jabroni!

Sorry - not a big wrestling fan...

Anyhow, I didn't think a raspberry (sounds like "thpthpthpt") was too harsh of a reaction. Or at least it wasn't meant to be.

I guess this smilie: :P is pretty close to what I was trying to say. It just needs to be animated so the tongue moves up and down and droplets of spit go flying. Maybe a side view would be good.

Anyhow...
