Thumbs up Hellboy!

I just got back from watching Hellboy.....and it kicked mucho ass!

Ron Perlman was perfect for the role, and he got Hellboy's attitude down pat.

Rasputin was one hell of a cool bad guy.....

The special FX were really impressive, especially the scenes of Abe underwater looking for eggs....in the Subway.

From what I've read it's gotten pretty good reviews (which was surprising to me just from seeing previews and having never actually read the comic book) and I have a friend that works at the local theater that saw it and said it was good so I'm gonna try and catch it some time this weekend.

It's very hit and miss. When it's good, it's good. When it's bad, it's shitty.

I don't recall any shitty parts...but maybe that's just me.....I thought it was a perfect representation of the comic.

They tie up no loose ends. Aquaman gets shafted hardcore and certain bits came off as being overly cheesey. Perhaps that just comes with the comic book movie turf though.

The movie was nothing special imo, i had higher hopes for the movie.

Not really worth seeing, some of my friends literally fell asleep on the movie when we went to see it, it's an overall ok movie, but nothing special yet again.

Am I the only one who read the comic or something?

There was no Aquaman in Hellboy......his name was ABRAHAM.

They didn't tie up any loose ends, because it was the start of the story....there's SUPPOSED to be loose ends....

Some parts seemed cheesy...because they were supposed to be....

The Aquaman statement was sarcasim, dumbass. Nonetheless, the character development was rushed and lame. I felt nothing for any of them. Also, cheesy is still cheesy weather it was intentional or not.
