Different guitars = different sounds.... Thats like asking you why you got a new exhaust (or getting?), can't drive with the one you have?

yea, but you also have different pickups, thinner/wider neck, some guitars have locks for when you tune them so they pretty much never go out of tune... My mind is all over the place right now, but I could pump out a list of things.

To beat a Ferrari you need to be in one or something better. But your logic was telling me to race it in whatever car I have, since it has wheels and can drive.

Guitars aren't the same. Amp settings don't change the way your guitar plays and sounds. Guitars have different weight, feel, sound, construction and accessories. I don't buy guitars that are similar to what I already have. If I ever purchase a new guitar, I make sure it sounds completely different than any of the three I have now.
