Default Another motorbike accident.

This time slightly worse.

I was on my way to work yesterday when this combi-van decided to do a 3 point turn in the road. I had right of way so I just carried on down the road and as I approached he swung across into my lane and I hit him. I was thrown across the bonnet/hood and onto the road.

Some passer by had to call an ambulance as I was having massive pain from my stomach and groin and we couldn't tell if I had internal injuries.

At the hospital they took a urine sample and did all the usual poking and proding and decided that there didn't seem to be anything terribly wrong, just a lot of internal bruising.

I've been told that if the pain continues though I've got to go straight to A & E as it could be something more serious.

At the moment I hurt pretty bad so I'm going to see how I feel later.

My bike was in a rough state. As it happened not too far from home after my parents dropped me off from the hospital they pushed it back home.

The police have said that there was nothing I could have done and are likely going to prosecute the driver for driving without due care.

I think I just need to find a nice young lady to rub me better

Beautiful bike :

Hope everything turns out ok for you, and hopefully it is only bruising, and that it'll subside soon.

Hope your ok man. I hope you get the guy to pay for your bike repairs (if possible) and get some money off him. If he was driving a company van, that could be some serious crap he could get into.

When did this happen? like, within a few days?
You seem well enough to post on the forums. lol
Well, I know you must be hurting now, so I hope you have a quick recovery.
And, I hope the bike made it. 'Tis a beauty..
