I'm working on my first kiss as well. I too and taking it farly slow. We just moved up to hand holding. It was genious how I did it, too. She had invited me over to her house to watch a movie. (It turned out she already had the movie we were going to watch picked out, Just Married.) We played the tactical hand placement game for about half the length of the movie. I was almost positive she wanted me to make a move but there was still that shallow feeling of doubt. At the very moment I had almost abandon all the nerve I had been building up to actually take her hand she let out a small sigh. To me this was a signal. I calmly turned my head to the right facing her and I said "Can I hold your hand?" Then she just smiled and took my hand. It was beautiful.

I'm going to begin development on a metal spork soon! The world will be brought to its knees!

... you gonna finish that sammich?

Dude, when I make me a sammich, you best belive i'm finishin' that thang!!

About the hand holding thing, it's funny, cause while Kayla and I were watching Welcome to Mooseport (HILLARIOUS MOVIE!) she reached over and grabbed my hand and we held hands through the movie....(which I have never really done that before...)

But it was really nice, because that gave me the inclination to go in for a kiss at my house....

All day at work today I was walking around with this huge smile on my face, cause I couldn't stop thinking about her, and I can't wait till the next time I get to see her (hopefully friday night!)

It's not sad. Some things take time. When you get together with a girl you really like, trust me, the patience will pay for itself.

everett, it's better to take your time and do things when it's right for you than to think you HAVE to do something because everyone else seems to be, thus making yourself unhappy and unfulfilled.

I'm sure many of you friends who brag about what/who they've done are bending the truth slightly.
The problem is, many young women out there don't share the opinion of our friend Lexi.

Well, I didn't have anything close to a girlfriend till i was 17, and since that I'm only on my second one, this one being on 9 months.

Getting my first girlfriend, even though I've came to hate her within the last month of our dating to now, did wonders for me.
I used to weigh as much as 240 to 260 pounds before I started dating, and when I did, by January I was down to about 180, and thats before I decided to start throwing shotput and discus and weighlift in Track starting in February.

Knowing there is someone out there other than your family that loves you has a huge effect on your life if you were like me.

Wow, you sound like me. I started a bit earlier though. I met Sarah when I was only 15. I was in the 260 weight range, too. We'd always been friends but nothing close to that second level. I lost right around 100 pounds and things fell into place and we started dating. Three years later and we mutually seperate. Now I've met somebody infinitly cooler, the very definition of beauty. Things are going well.
