Any other home owners (or payment-makers) here?
I spent this past weekend cutting down some over-grown junipers in my yard. Gonna replace them with a small breed of pine trees. Also gonna add in some shrubs, a little washed rock around the house, and maybe some decorative paving stones. Gotta build a little shed for lawn care junk, too. Then I'm building a fence so the kiddo can play in the yard. Lastly, a big old sand box and a swing set. Busy summer ahead. Anybody else got yard work planned?

Im converting my garage apartment into a garage, have had the insides and sides of the apartment part torn out and am hauling away the old wood and debris, fun stuff for sure. Eventually im gonna have my foundation leveled and get a new interior to my house, possibly this summer, depends on the cash flow...

Let's see...I'm going to be staining the back deck, and adding on to it with my dad....we are going to build like a 24' by 20' patio coming off the bottom step of our back porch...going out into the backyard....
Then we are going to make a natural stone wall on the edge of it, going down into a crushed rock and natural stone walkway...which will be surrounded by garden areas... and right now...our back yard consists of grass....so It's gonna be alot of stuff to do...but he's agreed that he'll buy me a few PS2 or X-Box games for the work!! so that's sweet. But as of right now, I'm going to have to mow the lawn pretty soon, and I hate mowing our backyard....it's all potholes-y.

Lawn-cutting season has kind of started up around here too. I don't mind cutting our lawn, although we have one of the bigger back yards in the whole neighbourhood. What's almost as bad as potholes is moss. Boo-urns to moss!!
.....especially when wet, it just clogs up the mower like nobody's business...![]()

No moss here in kansas, so that's cool.....but it really does suck when it's like 75-80 degrees....at 7pm.....plus I have really bad allergies.
Our backyard is HUGE, it takes me at least an hour to do the back yard alone...

..We've had over 200 trees removed from our yard about a year and a half ago. Then had tons of top-soil added so the yard doesn't flood anymore..yet we can't do anything until the property behind ours is built upon this spring. However, after waiting so long due to weather and money, the front yard has been seeded finally today.
