I don't know about California, but here in Alaska, the native peoples are allowed to (like one a year for a village). hunt whales, that is.

In Denver County, it is illegal to have a donkey on the second floor of any structure.
In Arvada, it is illegal to kill or remove any weeds on your property, no matter how big. Fox News did a whole segment on stupid laws in Colorado, but those are the only two I remember. |
