Went to the range again. Shot some other guns, 1911 and some other .45 I cant remember the name of. Took my dad this time, I think he enjoyed himself. He was looking at some of the guns on display and is considering a purchase. Nyedor bought a pistol, he can post if he wants to. I think Im gonna go back and put one on layaway.:P

I just bought a pistol a few months ago. Its an older gun, but I only paid 50 bucks for it.
I'll try and take some actual pictures to show mine. There is a pic I got off the net though.

I prefer target shooting with a .22 long rifle.
I've got a little Ruger semi-auto target gun as well, but it's only got a 4" barrel, so it's louder than all get out and it's a little hard to aim beyond 50 ft (nearly impossible beyond 75 - for me, at least). It shoots long rifle cartridges, too. Nice and cheap to shoot. I don't ever got to a range. Grew up on a farm, so we just stepped out the back door - literally. There's also an old dump site not far from where my folks live. All that's left are tin cans and glass bottles. There're umpteen bazillion bottles there, so that usually makes for a good time. I like going for the long shots, personally. Something very satisfying about hitting a target that's difficult to see behind the cross hairs. Open sight shooting is pretty cool, too. Dad's got two little .22 rifles (not sure who made them) that are roughly 18" long. The stalks unbolt and a pistol grip bolts on. Single shot, lever action. Pretty cool.

I own 2 .22 rifles, fun to shoot at an outdoor range. I dont think it would be too fun shooting at like 50 feet, indoors though.
PSFan, is that a Beretta? EDIT: I followed the pics properties to the site. Is that an airsoft gun?

My dad has a .22 ruger carbine. Ive never shot it though.
A friend of mine's dad has a few guns, they go shooting in the desert every once in awhile. I like his SKS, it even came with a bayonette, lol! His uncle is a fanatic though. He lives in arizona, owns like a hundred guns, including a whole bunch of automatics.

My cousins husband is a gun collector and a hunter. He must have 100 guns. Anything from old muzzleloaders to new automatic pistols. I think he has an AK-47 from Vietnam.

My brother has a single shot shotgun that I like alot....it's very accurate.
Personally though I tend to lean towards revolvers as far as handguns go...my dad has a S&W .45 that is awesome. I want to try and get a peacemaker, just to have one.

i have 11 guns, but the ones i shoot most are a S&W 2206 semi-auto .22, a M1 1991 A1 in .45, and my 500 S&W in the most powerful catridge in the world: the .500 S&W Mag. i also try and shoot my .338 Win Mag Sako finnbear rifle, but the ammo is too expensive (1.5-2 dollars a shot).
