Hot date advice...

Ok, ok. I've got a big date tomorrow night with the epitome of beauty herself. She's invited me over to her place to watch a movie. This isn't the first time we've been done anything together, its just the first time we've done anything in a non public fashion.

I feel pretty strongly towards her, and I can assume that the feelings are, in fact, mutual. She did recently ask me to her senior prom. We've also had some late night phone conversations and online chat sessions. Though not offically and item, it seems like destiny.

Thus brings me to my question; what movie should we watch? I'm totally stumped here. I've reduced myself to running internet searches for top romantic DVDs. As you can probabaly tell they haven't returned much in terms of usefullness. Any suggestions at all? I mean with any luck this is going to turn into a make-out session within a matter of minutes, but the movie still needs to set to mood without seeming overly obvious. The ice needs to be broken, though I would settle for some causal hand holding. In fact, her even acknowledging my existance warrents joy. She's amazing.

Nonetheless, this needs to be a big hit to ensure our future romance. So any and all suggestions are welcome.

Don't use this opportunity to jump up on her yet. Let her come to you. I'd suggest watching one of those really stupid date movies, like just married or swimfan (oh god.. I said swimfan). And just chill. Talk to her like a friend. crack a joke or two, have a nice time. Try getting a little close to her, like just putting your hand on hers for a few moments, then take it right off. Say something like "My bad, didn't mean to invade your personal space" or some whack line. I'm sure you can come up with something better. Chances are, if she digs you, she'll get closer
Also, try not to freak out, but if you do, be funny about it. That way, you look kinda' cool. I give the worst advice ever.

Yeah, you do. I'm not an 8th grader, I know how to conduct myself. And I never said I was going to "jump on her." I'm a very patient person. I'll wait for her to show signs of comfort.

And Punch Drunk Love sucks shit through a straw. I like this girl, I'd never want to subject her to that so called "movie."

haha aww man if i was a girl and some guy said that to me i'd just bust up laughing. During the movie, if you two get close then go for her hand and just keep it there for a while man, let her make the next move. She might lay on your shoulder or something or just stay there. Leave it up to them to tell ya how far to go...and then there is noooo way they can get all mad at you..unless ya get freaky.....i don't give good advice either...eh....probably why i dont have a gf.....

Unless you want teeny-bop, then go for Whatever It Takes. Marla Sokoloff is so hot in that movie.

Or if you want some comedy with a romantic twist, then go for Bruce Almighty.

Seriously, she's most likely already seen it, and if so, she loves it...all girls do.

I give good advice and this would honestly be your best bet if you're looking for a romantic comedy.

That movie rocks! Kate Beckinsale = OMGHI2U in it. Very romantic movie.

Watch 'What women want' starring Mel Gibson.

This may lead her into telling you what she want without you having to try and ask her.

I'd avoid soppy romantic movies as she may think you're trying too hard.
