Good Deal Or Did I Get Ripped? Computer Related!!!
I just bought This Graphics Card For $60.

You got THAT very same card for $60?!?!? Mother****, I paid nearly 200 for mine not more than a month ago.
I'm gonna' destroy the technology world, and I hate Nvidia for releasing the GeForce FX. *sobs* |

Yeah, my grandpa sold it to me, because he's buying the new FX card for 400 bucks. So i figure i got a good deal. He payed 199.99 for it.

Oh so you bought a used one especially from your relative. If you bought it elsewhere you wouldnt have gotten that price.

Why is it a pretty expensive card?
Meaning at most retailers. He got his online. Is 200 the usual asking price?

199.99 is the retail price, yes. But if you shop around smart, you can find it for 150-160. You got a good deal...I'm kind of shocked that this forum has a forum member with a grandpops who's handy with PCs. Truly, the thought is quite mindboggling, to say the least.

Man my grandpa is a pc gaming fanatic. His favorites right now are RTCW and B. 1942.
So with that card and some more ram(i'll be at 512). I should be able to run just about anything out now right?

geez your lucky, and thats kind of cool that you have a grandpa who knows computers. my grandpa who is 88, one time a few years ago we said something about the internet, and then he said, "whats the internet?"
