I am with Arnold on the whole chics that scream thing. Way sexy. Can't beat a set of strong lungs. Otep isn't half bad. I bet Kate will dig em. She is into the chic rockers. Says they are enpowering. Whatever. I just think that they are hot and the majority of the time they wail much better than men.

I'd jumble Otep in with the likes of Shadows Fall, Pantera, Pro Pain, and Kittie. And even a little bit of rage (just the way some of her lyrics flow together....and the strong meaning behind her words.)
They are more straight forward power metal. But the lead singer can ****ing SCREAM....sometimes she puts the male vocalists of those bands to shame man. She was a poet before she joined this band...and her lyrics are so ****ing profound......
