My only problem is, ive seen alot of threads about bands posted by other people only to get about 10 hate posts. So how does that fit in?

IMO, it needs to be, if you dislike the band in the title then stay out of the thread. Because it only leads to a bunch of BS bickering.

The whole thing is that people have their opinions, and whatever that opinion is won't bother me, as long as it's an educated opinion.

If someone posts a band that they like, I see no problem with others posting why they maybe don't like the band as long as it isn't just someone saying " 'Cos they suck" simply to start an arguement.

Side note: I didn't recognise Sandra with blonde hair.

But what is the point of having an opinion on a band and you don't give the band's music a listening to? The reason I don't reply to many music threads is because I haven't heard the music of most of the bands that are posted. So my so-called opinion/arguement(s) would be pointless, because I would be bullshitting. Doesn't seem too smart or respectable, does it?

I agree with you on that but say Arnold posts about a band he likes but I don't. What's wrong with me say " I can't really get into their music because... (whatever the reason may be)... but I do like... (whoever)."

I thought the purpose of these forums was to communicate and share our different opinions. As long as it's done respectfully.


An example would be Guano Apes.

Someone posted about them and I did a search so I could see for myself. As it turns out I liked the group and posted a comment saying so, but had I not liked it I would have still posted, but I would have included my reason for not liking it.

Similar situation to what Arnold was saying about Magoosh and Probot.

When you bash a band that someone likes, and say they are nothing new and they suck...and this band is better....my friend sings better than that lead singer.....and you have not even listened to that bands music....then I consider you to be a waste of air.

Does that seem harsh to anyone?

Music is seriously one of the most important things in my life....and people like GD really get on my last nerve...add in to that the fact that he tries to call himself a musician....OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH....what a ****bag.
