Thanks to Shirt's little kung fu video last week, I have just downloaded a plethora of Guano Apes songs. I've heard the song "Open Your Eyes" before, and I totally loved it, but forgot to check out anything else. I forgot who sung the song up until today after I did a little Google search.

So here I am...I just downloaded a bunch of their songs. And it's all terrific. It's a grunge rock band fronted by a chic. Oh, man...this girl can yell.

They remind me of rage against the machine kinda....with a female vocalist...a little bit of 311 style in there as well.

I've always liked them.

A teeny bit of RATM, yeah. But it's mostly grunge, and some metal for good measure. They rock.

I just listened to their song on that kung fu video. Best song by a female vocalist that I've heard in awhile.

Isn't the singer Sandra Nasic? She does an extremely cool vocal on an Apocalyptica song. If interested look for the song name Path Vol. 2 and if you want to hear the original song look for Path. (FYI Apocalyptica is a heavy metal cello band, currently my favorite band partially because I like playing their songs on my cello

Did you check out Path Vol. 2? A music video comes on the cd "cult" by Apocalyptica. Highly recommended CD. (includes a heavy metal remake of Edvard Griegs "hall of the mountain king" total kick-ass)

Where are you going to buy it at? I went up to best buy the other day and I couldn't find their cd anywhere.
