In 2004 nothing is new...
it's what's good that counts...and Maroon 5 are good. and if you think that the vocalist from blindsides "singing" is better than the lead singer of Maroon 5...then I hereby anounce that your opinion on music...from here on out...is worthless. go take a music theory class.

Like previously mentioned, comparing Christian from Blindside to the lead singer of Maroon 5 is like comparing apples and oranges. It's two completely different genre's. As for Christian's talent in the singing department, not just screaming, it IS there for sure, he has an excellent voice. Just listen to the songs "Silence", "Cute Boring Love", "The Endings", "Shekina", and "Roads", you'll hear his singing voice and not just screaming.
As for my opinion on Maroon 5 after downloading some of their stuff, I have a great disliking for the songs Harder to Breath and This Love mainly because they've been over-played to death around here, and I always hear those songs at work, therefore I hate them. I also heard Shiver (which is the name of a Coldplay song by the way) and Secret, which were both decent, but nothing jaw dropping for my tastes.
