Well, no I haven't heard their album. But I know I won't like it. As for TPF, their live shows speak for themselves.

I actually thought Maroon 5 would be a band GD liked. When Voice made this thread, I honestly didn't expect people to give them this much praise. I really enjoy them...but they seemed to fall more into the alt/pop rock that Arnold and company rip on. Congratulations on using your head. Soon enough we will eliminate this idea that Metallica is actually good as well...

I don't know man. I've seen them perform on Conan and SNL. I wasn't really digging them. I suppose I should give them a closer listen before passing a judgement...But I just don't really want to.

Alt/pop rock? Eh, I don't think so. Maroon 5 can only be classified as a modern day blues/classic r&b band. The songs "Sunday Morning" and "Secret" validate my statement.

Maroon 5 is all about soul. The song "Shiver" has a great guitar solo, though.
