I was actually about to post a thread to ask you how people feel about the situation, Stanley. I saw on CNN that about half of the Haitian population in Florida is displeased that Aristide is gone, but the violence in the country itself seems to suggest that people there feel differently. Has the unrest affected you directly? Why were so many Haitians upset with Aristide to begin with?

I've been paying close attention to the situation lately because I have a buddy down there helping out at an orphanage. Sounds like scary stuff. The letters he sends me talk about gun fights going off in the streets day and night, smoke rising from the buildings in the city - sounds like mayhem.
